Inspiration & Concept: This piece focuses on some of the machinations that can infect and plague a creative mind – a sense of unworthiness and internal conflict. The work is birthed through the concept that the escapist detachment of complacency is a slow yet main contributor to the decay of most forms of creation. The self-destructive act of incorrect inward reflection is also intended to be represented though this piece. An artist's introspection can lead to a feeling of unworthiness, invalidating the intentional creations they worked to bring into this world.

Process & Technique: The bright overlayed colors and even the length of text create a shroud on the intention of the piece of art until the viewer takes time to fully interact with it.
Message & Meaning: quantifying hormesis, emotional complacency, seduction vs. destruction, incorrect inward reflection
